Default unit pada saat pertama kali kita mengimpor adalah inches, sehingga menjadi tidak sesuai jika gambar Cad yang anda buat menggunakan skala metric. Solusinya adalah dengan mengimpor ulang dan pebaiki Option Scale tersebut 3. Bila terdapat object-object yang tidak di inginkan masuk ke dalam SketchUp, anda dapat meremove object tersebut dengan double klik pada komponen hasil impor tsb atau bisa juga dengan cara klik kanan pada object hasil import, kemudian baru memiih object-object yang tidak dibutuhkan untuk dihapus. 4. Jika terjadi kegagalan pada proses loading import, itu bisa terjadi karena file Cad terlalu besar sedangkan spesifikasi komputer/laptop minim.
